SERVICES

From design through to installation, training and equipment hire, find out more about our range of screw pile support services below:

Design & Installation
Verification

Using hydraulics, small & medium sized plant machinery will install screw piles to carry loads up to 500kN SWL (made to order 168mm CHS screw piles). A torque motor rotates the CHS shaft, and the lead section is then pulled into the ground by the ‘screw’ action of the helical plates, without creating spoil.

Extensions are added until the correct depth is achieved for the designed load-bearing capacity. Each screw pile is designed using individual plate-bearing theory for the helices, with load capacity calculated using standard end-bearing equations. This load-bearing capacity is verified by monitoring the installation torque as the pile is driven into the ground. The measured torque is directly proportional to the load-bearing capacity of the pile, based on empirical torque correlations.

Design
Services

Through our established partners, geoLOGIC Foundations supply the UK’s leading torque motors for efficient and precise screw-pile installation. These high-performance units deliver consistent torque control, enabling accurate installation even in challenging ground conditions. All torque motors are available for either full purchase or short- and long-term hire, giving contractors complete flexibility depending on project scale, duration and budget.

To support safe, high-quality installation practices, geoLOGIC can arrange comprehensive training for contractors and site teams. Our training covers correct handling of screw-pile equipment, installation techniques, performance verification and on-site best practices. Because geoLOGIC screw piles require only lightweight installation plant, they can be deployed in restricted-access areas and on soft or sensitive terrain, without the need for heavy machinery or piling mats — greatly reducing mobilisation costs and site disruption.

Installation
Services

geoLogic Foundations offer comprehensive installation services for a broad spectrum of groundwork projects, supporting builds of all sizes and complexities. Our experienced teams handle everything from straightforward residential works to larger, technically demanding installations, ensuring each project benefits from precise workmanship and reliable foundation performance.

From new house builds to extensions, commercial / industrial foundations and mezzanines, to rail, pipeline and highway infrastructure, we can tackle any type of screw pile installations.

Whatever the setting, we provide dependable, high-performance foundation installation for any type of screw-pile requirement.

Installation
Training

At geoLogic Foundations if you have preferred groundworks contractors or your own workforce, we can provide you with comprehensive training for screw pile installation, which typically requires one day on site. Each screw pile installation team (2 to 3 operatives) will only require one day of installation training, this can be arranged to be on the first job. Your operatives will also need to have necessary health & site safety accreditation (e.g. CSCS cards) and at least one of the team will need a ticket to drive the excavator.

We offer training on both the theory behind the screw piling system as well as practical installation of screw piles. Our training offered meets strict standards and quality benchmarks, demonstrating our continued commitment to education within the construction industry. Our installer training is focused on ensuring that everyone who leaves after the course understands the process of installation for our helical piers. We want foundation engineers to have a broad understanding of our products, so we designed our installer training to be as comprehensive as possible. This will allow you the ability to be confident that you know what you are doing as soon as you leave the course.

Plant-Torque
Motor Sales & Hire

Through our trusted partners, geoLogic Foundations can supply the UK’s leading torque motors for efficient and controlled screw-pile installation. These high-performance units are available for both purchase and hire, giving contractors complete flexibility depending on project scale and duration. We can also arrange comprehensive installation training to ensure teams are fully equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to install screw piles safely and effectively.

One of the key advantages of the geoLogic system is its compatibility with lightweight installation plant. Unlike traditional piling methods that often require heavy machinery and substantial ground preparation, our screw piles can be installed using compact equipment that operates easily in confined or sensitive areas. This makes them ideal for soft terrain, restricted-access sites, and locations where avoiding piling mats helps reduce cost, disruption and environmental impact.

Estimating
Services

We are always happy to assess the suitability of our screw-pile systems for your specific project, no matter the size or complexity. Every site and structure presents its own challenges, so we take the time to understand your requirements, ground conditions and design constraints before offering tailored guidance. Our team will review the viability of screw-pile foundations for your scheme and advise on the most efficient and practical approach.

Once feasibility has been confirmed, we can provide a detailed and transparent cost estimate outlining the recommended solution, anticipated installation methodology and any associated plant or engineering requirements. Our goal is to ensure you have clear, accurate information from the outset, allowing you to plan confidently and make informed decisions about your groundwork or construction programme.

We believe that we can offer the best value screw pile solutions available in the UK. Contact us for a FREE QUOTE.
